Install the bookmarklet
Add one bookmark to your browser, then save any Reddit thread as a text file with a single click.
1. Drag this to your bookmarks bar

Show your bookmarks bar
Press Ctrl + Shift + B (Cmd + Shift + B on a Mac). This works in Chrome, Edge, Brave, Firefox and Safari.
Safari calls it the Favourites Bar. Still hidden? Look for the show or hide option in your browser's View or Bookmarks menu.
2. Open any Reddit post
Go to the thread you want to save. It works on any post you can view, including ones that need you to be logged in.
3. Click the bookmark
Click Reddit Extractor in your bookmarks bar. The whole thread, with nested comments, downloads to your computer as a .txt file.
Prefer to check the code first? View it and add the bookmark yourself
1. Read the code. Copy code gives you a single-line version with the same logic.
2. Right-click your bookmarks bar and choose Add page (or Add bookmark).
3. Name it Reddit Extractor and paste the code into the URL field.
